On 2 July, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Law Foundation of Armenia hosted Ms Teresa Thalhammer, Head of Section Southern Caucasus of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) and Ms Nelly Tumasyan, Local Coordinator IRZ in Armenia.
Cooperation between LFA and IRZ started in 2011, by implementing a number of projects aimed at the protection of human rights issues, development of Commercial Arbitration and development of the alternative education in Armenia.
This time the parties discussed the issues of the Summer School on European Law, as well as current issues and the future cooperation.
On 14 – 18 July, the Law Foundation of Armenia and its German partner are jointly organizing a Summer School on European Law in Aghveran. This is the second such school that the parties organize. The application deadline has expired, and currently the organizers have undertaken the difficult task of selecting the participants.
