The Summer School on European Law has initiated for its alumni a series of meetings with the ambassadors of a number of EU countries, Armenian and international diplomats, lawyers, state and public figures. The regular meeting took place on 26 of September 2014, this time with Ms Dovilė Survilaitė, Chief Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the RA.
Ms Survilaitė spoke about the development and implemented reform, which took place after the country’s accession to the European Union. The alumni of Summer School on European Law were provided opportunity to direct questions to the guest. They were interested in the existing cooperation issues between Armenia and Lithuania and its development prospects, as well as the negative and positive effects that had arisen in the process of European integration.
The series of meetings are organized with the assistance of the Law Foundation of Armenia and the “Human Rights, Legal Aids, European Integration and International Cooperation” committee of the “Armenian Young Lawyers Association” NGO.
